Support
Help with the app, Premium access, purchases, privacy, and Catholic fasting guidance.
Quick help
For iPhone and iPad purchase issues, confirm the same Apple Account is in use, check the network connection, and choose Restore Purchases in the app. On Android, confirm the Google Play account used for the purchase and reopen the Premium screen.
Contact support
Contact @CatholicFasting on X. Include the app version, device model, iOS, iPadOS, or Android version, and a short description of what happened. Do not include private intentions, notes, or payment details.
Manage, cancel, or request a refund
Apple processes App Store billing for iPhone and iPad. You can manage or cancel subscriptions with Apple. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refund eligibility and decisions are handled by Apple. Use Apple's Report a Problem service to review a charge or request a refund.
Google Play processes Android billing. Manage or cancel an Android subscription and request any eligible refund through Google Play using the Google account that made the purchase.
Privacy and local data
The app requires no account. Fasting history, intentions, notes, settings, and other app content stay on the device. On iPhone and iPad, content leaves the app only when you choose an export or sharing destination. The Android app does not provide export, import, backup, or household-sharing features. Read the Catholic Fasting Privacy Policy for full details.
Guidance, health, and local authority
Catholic Fasting is an independent devotional aid, not an official Church or USCCB publication. The app and website do not replace medical advice, pastoral advice, or the direction of legitimate local Church authority.
If guidance here differs from your pastor, diocese, eparchy, or other competent Church authority, follow that authority. If fasting may affect your health, pregnancy, recovery, medication, or an eating-disorder history, consult a qualified clinician before fasting. You can also review the site's guidance and primary sources.
Frequently asked questions
Is Catholic Fasting issued by a Church authority?
No. Catholic Fasting is an independent devotional aid.
Do I need to enter my birthday?
No. The app uses eligibility settings instead of requiring a birth date.
Does the app collect my fasting history?
Catholic Fasting does not operate an account or cloud service that receives your fasting history. App data remains local. On iPhone and iPad, you may choose to export or share information; the Android app does not provide those features.
