How the app handles your data

App data stored on your device can include:

• Settings. Region and fasting rules; age eligibility and optional medical-dispensation choices; reminders and onboarding choices.
• Practice. Fasting and abstinence history; Friday notes; schedules, sessions, and timers; intentions, reflections, and Premium planning entries.
• Premium. Limited product, purchase, and access information needed to show whether Premium is active.

Catholic Fasting does not receive your settings or practice information from the app.

The way local data can leave or move between devices differs by platform:

• Android. Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for Catholic Fasting app data. The Android app does not provide export, import, backup, or household sharing.
• iPhone and iPad. The app exports or shares information only when you choose a destination. That app or service handles the information under its own privacy policy.

When another service is involved

• Purchases. Apple processes iPhone and iPad purchases; Google Play processes Android purchases. Catholic Fasting does not receive your payment-card details. The app receives only the limited product, purchase, and entitlement information needed to provide Premium access.
• Reminders. Your device's notification system delivers reminders. Reminder preferences remain on your device.
• Website delivery. The website host may process IP address, browser type, and request time to deliver, secure, and protect the public site. This website processing is separate from app-local storage.

Health-related information

The app may store fasting activity, age-eligibility choices, and an optional medical-dispensation setting on your device. Catholic Fasting does not receive that information from the app. Catholic Fasting is a devotional aid, not a medical device, and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Your choices

You can turn off reminders and delete the app or its local data. Deleted local data may not be recoverable. Catholic Fasting has no server copy to retrieve or delete because it does not receive your user-created app data.

Children, changes, and contact

Children

The app requires no account, and Catholic Fasting does not receive children's personal information from the app.
